A fun new way for visitors to see the sights of Sydney has been launched by Shelby’s Sidecar Tours who now offer domestic and international visitors, plus of course locals, the chance to take in the spectacular sights of Sydney from the comfort of a vintage style sidecar.

The first of it’s kind in Australia, the tours take full advantage of the stunning city views and offer riders a variety of routes, as well as bespoke tours to fit a variety of timeframes and budgets.

Marc Jaackson, Managing Director of Shelby Sidecar Tours is thrilled to launch this unique tourism product to the Sydney market.
Marc said “Sidecars tours are incredibly popular internationally, especially in Europe, so we’re very excited to be launching Shelby’s Side Car Tours in Australia. Sydney is one of the most spectacular cities in the world. The mix of iconic landmarks and hidden gems are perfect for exploring from the comfort of our safe fleet of vehicles.
We think the tours will be really well received and we plan to roll-out more tours in Sydney in the coming months, before eventually expanding nationally.”

The drivers are handpicked for their expertise and they will provide guests with a wealth of knowledge about local sights. They know the best shopping spots, plus the best places for coffee, restaurants and culture so that the experience is even more personal.

The motorcycles are top of the line Ural motorcycles that are vintage in style, but brand new and fitted with modern technology to create a safe and enjoyable experience for riders. The sidecars are spacious and comfortable, with goggles, helmets and wet weather jackets provided for riders, as well as cosy blankets to keep warm during winter rides.

Shelby’s Sidecar Tours allow tourists to experience the best areas of Sydney in style with a number of pre-established routes that take full advantage of our beautiful city, as well as the option to build their own bespoke journey.
One of the pre-established routes, the Over and Under Sydney Harbour tour, takes riders north of the city to experience the spectacular waterside views from Kirribilli, McMahon’s Point and Neutral Bay. After experiencing the stunning views from the sidecar and a short break at a café or harbourside park, riders will head back to the city by way of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Explore the city solo or add an additional rider for an extra fee, on tours that range from one hour to four hours. A full list of route options is listed at
